Notes from the Weekend & a Few Lovely Links

ON SUNDAY, WHILE LOUNGING about in the park on a blanket with P beneath the hazy Mediterranean skies and bright pink (heavenly-scented) flowering bushes, I was so enchanted with the moment, that I suddenly had the thought to delete Instagram from my phone. It was that exact moment that I realised that I was in desperate need of a digital detox and we spent the remainder of the afternoon listening to music and looking up at the clouds, discussing what their shapes might be as they floated lazily by. It was idyllic and exactly the way a summer afternoon should be spent, outdoors and in the company of someone one is crazy about. I ended adding the app back to my phone after that afternoon park, but resolved to spend far, far less time staring at screens, and more dreaming about clouds.

This week’s links include A Contemporary Beach Home in South Africa and a beautiful new line of jewellery we’ve added to The Shop; How to Make the Most of Your Workday and much, much more …
