THIS WEEKEND, P HAD THE perfect idea for a picnic at the beach. It is wonderfully fortunate to live in a city that sits on the coast, with the sea just three miles from our place. We packed a light lunch, some drinks and a new beach umbrella and before any time at all, we were under the unforgettable Mediterranean skies, sandy toes and salty golden skin, the sound of crashing waves and little romance. P had remarked that here, in this city, people are rather unencumbered when they’re at the beach, some sunbathing topless, while others cosy with lovers, and nearly everyone truly being in the moment without the need for the phones or social media or Instagram likes, just the splashing water, the smoothly gliding sailboats in the distance, the one or ones that you’ve come to spend time with, and the living of this beautiful thing called life …

This week’s links include a beautiful editorial featuring TIG Fashion Editor Victoria, Le Mas Des Poiriers in Provence, a romantic lace-trimmed silk-georgette mini dress and much, much more.

xo,
