. . . friday morning, the workmen arrived early to do some repairs to the wood floor in kitchen, which meant an early trip to our favourite café; the afternoon was rose petal tea & fruit scones at the tiniest and most charming antiques shop that also serves as a tea salon [missed you, jessica!]; and on saturday morning, there was the antiques auction and a few favourite shops, followed by brunch -- parisian quiche and smoked salmon & creamed cheese bagels and the most delicious almond croissants ever; and today, a perfectly lazy and cashmere sunday, as sundays were meant to be . . .
