Notes from the Weekend & a Few Lovely Links

Notes from the Weekend & a Few Lovely Links 28.09.20

THIS WEEKEND WAS a whirl of films and books and music, all set to the backdrop of a roaring fire, the cottage cosy while outside, leaves fell. We’ve been talking a lot about everything that has been going on in the world and it can be a bit overwhelming to think about it all, but right now, these words by Ernest Hemingway help to keep things in perspective, help me to remember to be thankful for all the moments big and small, for the fact that we exist and are alive: “Try to learn to breathe deeply, really to taste food when you eat, and when you sleep, really to sleep. Try as much as possible to be wholly alive with all your might, and when you laugh, laugh like hell. And when you get angry, get good and angry. Try to be alive. You will be dead soon enough.”

This week’s links include the prettiest villages near London and cosy knitted wool jumpers for autumn mornings; a Gothenburg apartment, pearl drop earrings, and much, much more.
