Notes from the Weekend & a Few Lovely Links

Notes from the Weekend & a Few Lovely Links 08.02.21
@annieuechtritz

I’VE BEEN TELLING P that the key to life is finding things that work. There is a small dehumidifier upstairs that quietly collects excess moisture from the air every day and we now have drama-free internet connectivity. I ordered a clothes steamer that quickly gets out wrinkles on cotton duvet covers and heavy sofa slipcovers and it’s just well, so satisfying when you find something that works. So while it may be a joke of sorts when I tell him that the key to life is finding things that work, it is actually true, and applies not only to gadgets ordered online, but also to routines and systems and workouts and yes, relationships. If you’ve been following our Stories, you’ll know that there has been snow here for the past few days, the fluttery pretty kind that makes our film-set of a village look even more so. I have been receiving many emails from those of you who’ve read this year’s resolutions, to tell me that you actually did delete your Instagram accounts and are so much happier for it. It’s still something to think about. Everything, as always, is a work in progress.

This week’s links include a Lebanese cafe in Montreal and a cabin high above a Norwegian Fjord; ankle boots and embroidered blouses and much, much more.
