Book Recommendation: Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself: How To Lose Your Mind And Create A New One by Dr. Joe Dispenza
Thursday 18th February, 2021
I am a slow reader—not because I don’t like to read, but because often the language level or the vocabulary in the book is higher than the level I am currently at.
Right now I am reading several books in different languages and I love them all, but wanted to share with you the one I love the most: Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself: How To Lose Your Mind And Create A New One
by Dr. Joe Dispenza, published in March 2012.
The book presents grounded, science-based ideas for creating a new you. The level of the language used is not an easy one: it explores topics such as neurogenesis, neuroplasticity and different brain waves, and talks about how our emotions are built and how we are empowered to define how we want them to be.
I would definitely recommend this book to anyone trying to break a habit of any kind and wants to find practical ways to break preconceived patterns and see your life from a new perspective.
I also wanted to share a podcast that really helped me these days, helped to get out of my own mind and motivated me to get to back running again and reeducate my body to be more active: click here.
