Ask a model what her beauty secret is and she’ll tell you it’s all about drinking water (and a handful of products that she will share–eventually–with you).

I have been following Anine Bing and TyLynn Nguyen, favourite designers at the moment, for a while now and I’m inspired daily by their style and all around awesomeness. What I have noticed is that they both seem to have extraordinary beauty and skincare routines. I am often so inspired by other people’s beauty tips and skincare secrets, so I decided to put together a few of their favourite products to hopefully inspire you.

Anine Bing launched her eponymous fashion brand in 2012. Often, when asked about her morning skincare routine, she answers:

“I start by exfoliating with a Dermalogica cleanser and then follow with the Paula’s Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant. I use it a couple of times a week to maintain my skin. My sister had a bit of acne and she used it and it cleared it up. I then put on the La Mer Moisturizing Cream. I finish with an eye cream, the Super Eye Serum with Retinol 8, and lip balm―both by Verso.

And when asked about her favourite makeup products:

“On the weekends I don’t always put make-up on. If I go to the office I’ll wear tinted moisturiser, Charlotte Tilbury’s Wonder Youth Boosting Perfecting Skin Foundation or Chanel’s Soleil Tan De Chanel Sheer Illuminating Fluid, then La Prairie Radiance Cellular Cream Blush in Rose Glow and Shiseido’s Perfecting Stick Concealer to fix any imperfections. Then a bit of mascara and maybe a bit of eyeshadow in a natural colour. I finish with Bare Minerals Powder Highlighter on my cheekbones. And then in the evening, I don’t do much more but maybe more blush and some black around the eyes. My favourite eye kohls are Bobbi Brown. I never do a red lip―I feel so uncomfortable.

And when asked how she deals with jetlag:

“I took melatonin on this trip because it’s a game changer. I had the best night’s sleep and woke up and felt totally fine. I drank loads of water and I’ve taken a break from alcohol.”

TyLynn Nguyen is the creative director of her eponymous lingerie collection label. When asked by Atelier Doré what her favourite beauty products are, this is her answer:

Morning: I start off by spraying May Lindstrom Botanical Mist on my face along with 5-7 drops of True Botanicals Pure Radiance Oil. I lather my entire body in La Mer Body Crème. For my face, I’ll use a Josie Maran concealer stick in Medium 2 under my eyes, Kosas cream blush in Tropic Equinox, and Estée Lauder mascara. For my hair, I’ll spritz 7 sprays of Leonor Greyol hair oil, center part it, and throw it into a bun.

Day: I always keep Clé de Beauté lip gloss in my bag, wherever I go.

Night: To exfoliate, I use African Botanics face scrub and I’ll use May Lindstrom Problem Solver Face Mask to cleanse and even out the skin. I’ll finish with Coco Kind Chia Seed Oil or La Prairie Sleep Mask to keep the skin richly moisturized and hydrated.

And in an interview with Rose Inc., this is what she answers when asked what she does to keep her skin healthy:

It’s water! And a face mist throughout the day and a really good oil. I try to wash my face twice a day. I use something lighter during the morning and something more intense at nighttime. Our skin regenerates so much at night, so it’s smart to make sure everything is off your face completely and that you can benefit from sleeping—when your skin can heal itself. Once you wake up, at least just wipe off that dead skin so you can go through your day with a fresh face. Adding hydration during the day will definitely help. And to drink water. I really think that’s the most important part.
