Notes from the Weekend & a Few Lovely Links

Notes from the Weekend & a Few Lovely Links 12.03.19
@azford

WE HAVE BEEN sitting on the edge of our seats over the grave debacle that is Brexit and what may or may not happen on March 29. If the most recent deal by Teresa May had not been voted down in the House of Commons today (as it was expected to), we might have been directly affected and forced to leave Spain before the month was through. What happens next is still anyone’s guess, but hopefully it will lead to an extension or not at all. Brexit stress aside, all is well in life and love. Last week, over a glass of wine with a friend we discussed our favourite days of the week. Sunday is my favourite, I say. What is your worst day, he asks? Is it not Monday? To which I reply, “No, no not at all—I love Mondays!” And that is a fact. Ever since I made the life-changing decision to concentrate on TIG full time so very long ago, wake up every morning excited for that first cup of coffee and to go to work. How lucky to feel this way every single morning, and what a reminder to always, always be grateful for this life.

This week’s links include Michael Fassbender’s Lisbon home and lace blouses and Baroque earrings for spring days; a chic hotel in London; why we’re so tired and much, much more.
