A beautiful snowfall was supposed to descend upon New York this weekend. I dreamed of walking through Central Park with my camera and a hot cocoa. Instead, we have freezing rain. It was the perfect weekend to stay in, read a good book and search for fashion inspiration.

This selection of editorials represents a few aesthetics that I am enjoying right now. My personal style is varied. One day, I enjoy clean lines and bold blazers. The next day, I want to indulge in vintage lace and delicate jewellery.

On that note, I realize the Elle France editorial is meant for wedding inspiration, but I enjoy how unapologetically feminine it is. As is the Porter editorial featuring Amber Heard, with its Western and bohemian wears.

Back east, the NYC inspired “City Girl” editorial provides inspiration on how to approach winter dressing.

My favourite of this bunch is an editorial inspired by the musician and icon Sade who recently celebrated her sixtieth birthday and is set to release new music this year.
