An Haussmannien Apartment; Photo by Claude Weber/Interior Archive
I first introduced Private Choice in October of last year (you can read more about it here). I recently attended the 6th edition of the event, where Nadia Candet had once again asserted her curatorial taste on the Haussmannien apartment where the event is held with a selection of contemporary artists and designers, a wide variety of artwork, furniture and design objects that come together as a unified whole. This year’s theme is highlighting the Current Trends. The great mise en scene is not only an exhibition event but also a private sale event.
To develop the Private Choice label as an incubator for talent and develop cross-collaborations with foundations and companies, offering a brand to designers and being the first to present these creations in Private Choice 2017 or 2018. »

And as my mind still lingers on Parisian appartements with ceiling mouldings, herringbone hardwood floors and fabulous chandeliers here is a selection of some of the most beautiful Haussmannien interiors I have seen in the past few days...
Dana is a fragile dreamer, they say, arriving in Paris four years ago, for love, and the city has been constantly changing her life since then. Hers is a world of books, (Marguerite Duras, Simone de Beauvoir, Anne Berest), expos, long walks sur les quais de Seine, pink skies, fine wine and peonies. website email
