Decor Inspiration | Places: A Summer Home in East Hampton

THIS MANHATTAN COUPLE’S summer home in East Hampton was first featured this past week, for the blue room it contained with the Yves Klein cocktail table. Here’s a glimpse of the rest of the home, which is equally spectacular. The couple enlisted interior designer Celerie Kemble, along with builder Ben Krupinski and local architect Kirk Lehman to work on the design, which was said to have been inspired by Grey Gardens. The specification was that there was not to be any of the usual typical Hamptons palette of white, blue and gray, but rather, one of cream, teal, mustard, red, and brown–a rather challenging order for a summer home, but it has come together rather beautifully.
