AND WHILE ON THE TOPIC of the interior design work of Michelle Smith, yesterday we caught a glimpse of her New York apartment, and today, thought it might be lovely to take a tour around the designer’s Shingle Style cottage in Sag Harbor, which she describes as “It’s ‘English Country House comes to Sag,’ but with less red and less seriousness”. It’s difficult not to fall in love with details such as the gilded & leopard print-covered chair and lacy canopy bed . . .

Lovely stuff. I’m at it again with those green walls. But other details of note are the spindles of the bed, black wide plank doors, green seats facing the sunlight, and faux column umbrella stand. Thanks for introducing Michelle Smith.
