The decade known for glitzy over-the-top digital production was–for a long time–shunned by music purists, but the eighties have been embraced by contemporary musicians over the last decade and have probably been the most influential to the current musical landscape. Love it, I’m an 80’s kid myself, Duran Duran and Depeche Mode were staples in my tape player. That collage of 80’s images is nice too… thanks for a great post and a trip down memory lane… it’s fun to do that once in while.
