Make your soul grow.
In 2006, students at Xavier High School in New York City were given an assignment by their English teacher, Ms. Lockwood, to test their persuasive writing skills: write to their favourite author and ask him or her to visit the school. Five of those students chose Kurt Vonnegut, and while he could not come to the school, he sent along this amazingly inspiring reply instead, the only one received by the school. He would pass away the following year.
