After spending so much time in Paris the past few months, it is impossible not to miss the daily flourishes, just a little. Why, yes, of course there are stunning and utterly charming flourishes here as well, but sometimes, one misses the very French-ness of things — the art and architecture, romantic & secret gardens and perfect hedges — and so, for today, a collection of very French things inspired by Paris and the countryside — antique chandeliers and ruffled bed linens, coffee & croissants on a hot summer’s morning and pastel squares of handmade soap . . .

A multitude of small delights constitutes happiness.
—Charles Baudelaire

I swear almost every time I see a leather patterned something I really like, it ends up as Claire Viver. Lovely round up!
