

. . . the power went out suddenly, this morning, and there was something about a transformer and three hours of down time, [which would have been catastrophic], even as the computers in the office went eerily black and the blinking wi-fi lights stopped their tiny flashes, but happily, not more than ten or so minutes later, music filled with room, the lamps with their silk pleated shades once again flooded the room in warm light, and all just in time, as there is an early morning flight tomorrow, and there still cases to pack, and shoes strewn all about the place . . .
