. . . and in between the elegant flakes of gold leaf falling, floating about the place and the colourful bouquets in shades of cerise, the blustery spring breezes and daffodils strewn about the garden; the candlelight dinners for two and lunches of serrano & gruyère on fresh baguettes and saturday at the shops and sunday afternoon at the farmers market; in between listening to albums on the record player amidst the scent of hyacinths, pretty things from the antique shops and leopard print on pale blue brocade, there were many, many moments of utter happiness in the thought that these are the things that perfect weekends are made of . . .
