“Time has a wonderful way of showing us what really matters.”
—Margaret Peters

. . . there is a saying about leaving on a high note, and leaving this year will certainly be that — november and december were wild and wondrous times, with moving houses and cities several times, reacquainting with friends and family in far-off places, and moments so beautiful, they caused one’s breath to catch, and while there was loss, there was also so much love, and there has been champagne and fireworks, perfect midnight kisses and clasped hands amidst the city lights, and of course, there was paris, and all in the last two months, with so much left to tell of the rest of the year we leave behind . . .
but for now, wishing you an impossibly beautiful new year, filled with love and laughter, and the things that matter most, for the best is yet to come —roséline xo

Roseline, I have been reading your blog for years now and never fail to be delighted. Stopping by here always adds a dose of prettiness to my day and I just wanted to say Merci for that.
Happy new year.

Another anonymous here….this post resonates with me so much! We said goodbye to our beloved kitty December 13, at 19 years, and it was heart breaking. And yet, I had a whirlwind year, and ended it at Montmartre, getting engaged in the rain while fireworks exploded overhead, so it has been a lot of ups and downs, and even now, I have 8 hours left in Paris, and so many things I want to see before I go!
happy new year!
wish you all the best for
2013
♡
Happy New Year! May all your dreams come true…
beautiful things — xo!
anonymous — she sadly passed away in early november — we were too heartbroken to talk about it before — she lived to be an amazing fifteen years old, and we were lucky to have known her for so long — she was an amazing dog.
