. . . and after the beautiful insanity of the past few weeks, and all of the wonderful things that seem to be happening all at once, it was lovely to slow things down, just a little, over the weekend, passing the hours over long dinners in favourite restaurants, and at quiet tables in cosy pubs, late evenings watching films and saturday afternoon at the shops for spring jackets, lipstick and lovely lacy things, and now it’s monday, monday, and there is coffee and so much to look forward to this week . . .
