. . . and while it may still be a little early for chunky knits — it is, after all, a brilliantly sunny september day — there have, already, been a few cashmere mornings, and a few trench coat evenings, around and about, as the light begins to fade; and today, plans are beginning to fall into place for the moment, for next week, for the future . . .
