{have a romantic [long] weekend + links}
Monday 30th May, 2011
by Roséline
. . . this weekend has been filled with such lovely things — strong coffee and frothy lattes, chocolate & banana crêpes at sunday brunch, and dinner at a favourite restaurant {for dessert: a warm chocolate brownie with peanut butter mousse and banana ice cream, sprinkled with peanuts, and drizzled with the most decadent caramel sauce}, conversations from oceans away and taxis in the rain, time at the shops {a new shimmery gold top} and long walks in the late-may sun, the strains of opera music in the background and just the two of us . . .
hope you’re having a perfectly romantic {long} weekend & that it’s beautiful where you are, roséline xo

Thank you for including a link to my shop! Hope you had a marvelous weekend and have a great week. Jane xx
Beautiful post to kick off a new week that is officially “summer” in my mind! Sounds like you had a lovely long weekend, as did I … my first beach day of the season and I so enjoyed the scent of the water and coconut sunscreen floating through the air. We topped it off that evening with dinner alfresco on a country club terrace overlooking a stunning golfcourse. The fresh lemonade was the perfect exclamation point that said summer’s here!

Absolutely ADORE Roséline! <3
I am obsessed with that umbrella! I think maybe I should use my fair skin as an excuse to casually carry one around :)
Have a lovely rest of your weekend!

Roséline, I nearly floated away with delight after reading your beautiful words… your weekend sounds absolutely divine and utterly romantic. I have a hopelessly big sweet tooth, and the dessert sounds so decadent — but what may be my favourite part of your writing is “the strains of opera music in the background and just the two of us . . .” Amazing.
These photos are equally stunning… I think my favourites are the last two — also love that lovely black & red polka dot bikini. :)
Enjoy the rest of your utterly romantic weekend!
