I love this blog very much!! I just started a humble blog of my own here http://amalittachronicles.blogspot.com/…I will be taking many pictures of design and beauty in Marrakech this winter. I am very much inspired by the blissful content of yours :) All the very best
Completely understand! It’s been a busy crazy three months for me, which has made it difficult to regularly post.
Can’t wait to see the “lovely” one soon:)
I think the blackness is paint?
makers9 — good question — difficult to tell from the photo, but it’s actually a large built-in cabinet — if you look closely, you may be able to make out a pair of handles at eye level with the fireplace mantle.
yes, a warm fire would be great.. particularly on a rainy day like today. does anyone besides me wonder what the dark vertical mass is to the right? is it just a painted wall or cabinet or other?
Julia – sounds completely perfect! Would drink hot chocolate by the fireplace with you any time.
diamondsinchampagne – saw your header and it looks great.
Chloe, Kelley, E, and I.D. – thanks so much for the lovely words of encouragement – definitely needed it on this busy, busy day!
I like how this photo is fancy with the chandelier yet cozy and comfortable with the older chairs and the fireplace
that chair and fire place, aaah i’m so ready for a comforting warm weekend :)
Yay, keep em coming -I can’t cope without a daily glamorous fix. :)
Can’t wait to see what you have in store for us in your next post!
That chandelier with the black and white wall, and, ahhhh!
Oh how I love that chandelier in the photograph .. I need one desperatley for my room!
(Btw the picture below this post with jess. stam is now my header, when I saw it on your blog I new I had to have it up for everyone to see, it’s my favourite photograph in a long long time)
Ahhh so lovely…hope you get lots done!
I’m sure your post will be great, can’t wait to see it. Hang in there!
Love that chandelier!
Ohhh I can’t wait for this particular post you are working on :)
And that room looks delightful! I would love to sink into one of those chairs with a book and get warm by the fireplace – so inviting :)
Love the photo, it’s so autumn cosy^^
xoxo
So, you’ll have to imagine with me, I would bring a pot of hot chocolate, two little white mugs and a plate of thumb print cookies, made with raspberry jelly, and we would sit and enjoy that glorious fire in the fire place! :)
