The first photo by Mario Testino had me floored!
Christine, LOL—love that your husband has been exposed to this blog :)
Yoli—I’ll always be in love with the Mario Testino image, and sheer decadence is the perfect way to describe it.
Thanks for stopping by, everyone—hope you’re having a fantastic week so far. A little slow with posting and responding to comments—my cousin is visiting from Paris and we’re gallivanting about . . .
I am still shaking from the sheer decadence of that first picture!!!! You killed me! That is beautiful.
Drench your walls in sushine — I love that idea. I never really thought of yellow as a “grown-up” color but it works beautifully in all of these rooms.
Absolutely sunny and joyous pictures. Everyone is celebrating Spring in their blogs while we are bunking down for another mild winter. 2 weeks until winter and still sleeping with just a sheet on! Oh, to have cold enough days to wear a stylish coat!

painted our new store yellow last year prior to opening and the compliments keep coming in. It gives off a glow, the effects of which are better than yoga. I love yellow!
Stunning! I love them all. Bring on summer ;)
I used to live in a bright yellow antique colonial house with white trim and a cornflower blue door – I loved it. It was always sunny!
Absolutely sunny and delicious and the perfect cure for a gray day. And the Yellow Oval Room at the White House (which is very pretty) – that’s got to be a blog first!
You are just little miss merry sunshine lately with all your yellow! you’ve definitely got spring fever, and you are spreading the love! :-) thank you for spreading some sunshine!
happy week

Every picture is great. The first one is so dramatic… I love it! The ceiling is amazing!
Fantastic collection of yellow rooms. Love the Mario Testino image!
I absolutely adore the colors of the 2nd photo! So much that I showed my hubby the photo. LOL
You’re too funny, Ana — am the same way — and it’s red nail polish, too! :)
love that gallery wall in the last pic…against the light pumpkin wall. swoon.
I love that round floral arrangement in the final pic. Love the texture!
Is it wrong to be concerned about that grey seat cushion and the nail polish! eek!
