Notes from the Weekend & a Few Lovely Links

Notes from the Weekend & a Few Lovely Links 29.01.18
The Hudson Company

THE SUMMER-LIKE days, anomalies that we knew them to be, have faded away to all-night rains which in turn cleared into bright, winter days that are more in line with what one would expect in January. Of course, it is still far warmer here at this time of year than in any other city we’ve lived, so there are definitely no complaints. We actually took some time off this weekend for a change, and spent time relaxing, glasses or red wine in the evening and Saturday afternoon at an old favorite restaurant, deep in conversation over patatas bravas and our favourite steak tartare. The first month of the new year has flown and we’re still in the midst of tight deadlines and large projects until at least the middle of February, so perhaps then, we may just have to celebrate an extra special Valentine’s Day and even plan a trip or two. We’re also still completing expansion work on The Shop, which is really beginning to take shape with so many beautiful things, as well as new content for TIG and even more new endeavours. 2018 is going to be an extraordinary year, filled with fresh starts and following our hearts and always chasing what is already turning out to be the grandest adventure of lives …

This week’s links include an impossibly tiny space and the Seven Wonders of the World; belted coats and high-waisted jeans, 14 famous women and their favourite Perfumes, and much, much more.
