Manger à Paris: 11 Current Favourite Places to Eat in Paris

Paris is blooming with charmant places. Some of them are the quietest in the city. Others are proud owners of the most gorgeous design, while others serve the most delicious meals you've ever tasted. And just a few, well, they have it all.

The latest to conquer my heart is Pink Mamma (above). This new place stands out for the soigné design, refined and with a sense of grandeur. It's not only their space, naturally bright in the daytime, delightfully cozy on the evening, but Tigrane Seydoux and Victor Lugger’s fresh savoir-faire came out with another scintillating menu. They seemed to have found the recipe for success because they have drawn all of the city's attention.

If you come to Paris with enough time to stroll and explore, you have no excuse to skip out on the fabulously fabled good cafés and brasseries -- beautiful settings paired with mouthwatering food, perfect places to cozy up with a book or meet friends for an afternoon tea or simply sit and people-watch. Some of the locations you may find tucked away on a discreet corner, in others you may rediscover a delightful jambon-beurre, a salade de chevre chaud recipe, or a delicious tarte-tatin. They all maintain quality and consistency, a healthy philosophy, refreshing and modern menus, expertly brewed coffees. A myriad of choices, but here’s my top list (in no particular order). --Dana

Dana is a fragile dreamer, they say, arriving in Paris four years ago, for love, and the city has been constantly changing her life since then. Hers is a world of books, (Marguerite Duras, Simone de Beauvoir, Anne Berest), expos, long walks sur les quais de Seine, pink skies, fine wine and peonies.
