Notes from the Weekend & a Few Lovely Links 01.05.17

WE FOUND OUT over the weekend that P’s Great Aunt Ellen had passed away. She was a good age, the Scottish often say, when someone has lived a long and full life. Nevertheless, we were still a little shocked by the news, for Great Aunt Ellen was so spirited, with a grand personality. The very first time we met, she carefully examined my face from all angles at close range before finally exclaiming, “Well JUST look at YOU! Aren’t you just the LOVELIEST thing?” in her thick Scottish accent. I liked her immediately and from that day on. We’ll miss her rambling tales of people we didn’t know and her unique words and phrases from days gone by. Cheers to you, Great Aunt Ellen.

This week’s links include Mario Batali’s Culinary Guide to NYC, and sexy one shoulder swimsuits, a few interior design podcasts to listen to, and much, much more …

Happy Tuesday! Hope you’re had a lovely (long) weekend,
Roséline xo
