01-Rita Konig | 19th-century Home Northern California-This Is Glamorous

The homes of English interior designer Rita Konig have been featured here before, but recently, we happened upon design work of hers for a couple in California: Mark and Blythe Harris, whose home was actually an abandoned 19th-century summer camp. The Mill Valley, California property began as YWCA summer camp in the 1880s, but with the help of Rita, whose work they had seen in magazines (and who ability to hang the most perfect gallery walls had won them over), as well as architect Gil Schafer, it become the most charming space with warm and worn prints and patterns and Royal Sunset climbing roses in the garden . . .
