Design Notes

The Saint-Germain-des-Prés shoulder bags by Belgrave Crescent were inspired by old-school English leather cartridge bags used for hunting.

We gave the original design an update by replacing the thick bridal leather typically used with soft & luxurious leather from one of the finest tanneries in South-Western France, bringing the bag from the countryside to city streets.

We also updated the London Tan and Chestnut colours cartridge bags normally come in with a soft and ultra-chic grey, or Seacliff, and added beautiful gold details, such as the lock clasp and chain strap.

The Slip Skirt, Endlessly

In February, it was all about winter lace, the pleasure of pairing something delicate with warm cardigans and thick woollen tights, a study in contrast that felt instinctive.

The April Moodboard

This is the month where everything begins to feel slightly undone in the best way possible. Coats are carried more often than worn, sleeves pushed up absentmindedly, collars left open.
