Inspiration: Street Style at Paris Fashion Week

1

THERE IS A CERTAIN JE NE SAYS QUOI in Parisian street style. It is almost as if outfits take less effort and look nonchalantly put together. Shirts are slightly buttoned down and slip off the shoulder with an insouciant innuendo, hems of pants and blazers become frayed, and colour gives way to monochrome and tonal hues. Hair and makeup are done as minimally as possible to emulate the Parisienne look, while the backdrop to photographs is the beautiful city of lights, so imbued with history and grandeur of an old age, that every shot features cobblestone streets or the intricate façades of a cream building glistening in the sun.
