Talented Canadian pianist and singer/composer, Chilly Gonzalez, has contributed on some most successful albums of the last few years, most notably Daft Punk’s, Random Access Memories and Drake’s Nothing was the Same. He also contributed the piano outro on “Marvins Room” from Drake’s 2011 release Take Care. Here is Gonzalez’s delicate cover of the song.

Slovenian producer Gramatik showcases tight production skills on jazz influenced “Muy Tranquilo”.

Great remix by London based producer Yinyues of the Notorius B.I.G’s 1994 hit “Juicy”. Biggie’s original, sampled Mtunes’ 1983 hit “Juicy Fruit“. On this piano-laden remix, Yinyues has altered the original funk sound to a laid-back summer vibe.

Lil Wayne’s debut single, “Believe Me”, from his forthcoming release Tha Carter V features Drake with production by Boi-1da.

In 2012, soul legend Bobby Womack released The Bravest Man in The Universe in collaboration with Damon Albarn and Richard Russell. The album was one of the best and perhaps unexpected releases of 2012. Here is one of the standout tracks, “Stupid”, from the album.
