OPULENT, MYSTERIOUS, STRIKING, DRAMATIC are some words that come to mind when one thinks of Marrakech, an inspiration for filmmakers, photographers and designers alike. The city invites us to pack colourful kaftans that play with textures and layers, where ethereal silks clash with embellished fabrics, golden jewellery that reflects the subtle sumptuousness inherent in every corner, dramatic headpieces, vibrant jewel tones and bold prints to contrast with the subdued hues of the buildings. Angela Lindvall’s classic yet edgy beauty is ideal to portray the woman we all want to be when we travel; one who merges with the country’s culture and traditions, yet remains distinctive in her style. —Victoria

Victoria lives in the south of Spain, having moved there from her native country Ukraine when she was just a child. She finds herself looking up to timeless icons from past decades including Jackie O, Grace Kelly, Katherine Deneuve and Audrey Hepburn, and longing for sunny afternoons on the French Riviera and walks along the Seine during spring. Always overdressed and dishing out on tailored pieces and shoes – secretly dreaming they were from Dior or Saint Laurent – she dresses for herself rather than others, and would trade breakfast for Vogue or a one way ticket to anywhere beautiful.
