If I Had Time : Win a Rose Gold Watch

by

{GIVE-AWAY | IF I HAD TIME : WIN A ROSE GOLD WATCH!}

AND IT IS A WONDERFUL THING that sometimes, the office is the beach, a castle in the highlands, or a cosy café, and that searching for and sharing beautiful things is all in a day’s work.  But sometimes, with the way the days and months whirl by, it’s Monday and then the weekend again, summers turning into autumns and roses fading into falling leaves, and we’re left wondering what might be done with just a little more time . . .

{GIVE-AWAY | IF I HAD TIME : WIN A ROSE GOLD WATCH!}
More countryside drives on weekends and time to explore castles along the coast . . .

{GIVE-AWAY | IF I HAD TIME : WIN A ROSE GOLD WATCH!}
More time to linger over dessert, for chocolate éclairs and strawberry tarts, and rose petal tea in gold-rimmed china . . .

{GIVE-AWAY | IF I HAD TIME : WIN A ROSE GOLD WATCH!}
More time to spend along the hushed halls and herringbone floors of art galleries, amongst the gilded frames and masterpieces from times gone by . . .

{GIVE-AWAY | IF I HAD TIME : WIN A ROSE GOLD WATCH!}
More time for luxuriously languid Sunday mornings, beauty sleep, and sweet dreams . . .

{GIVE-AWAY | IF I HAD TIME : WIN A ROSE GOLD WATCH!}
And always, always more time to spend at the beach and along the coast, sun and sand and sea salt kisses . . .

    Ha. 🙂 xoxo

  • @Audrey So sorry you could not enter the contest, Audrey, but thank you for your very lovely note nonetheless xoxo

  • Time to enjoy all the Beauty around me and as simple as the turning of the trees on this beautiful day. Time to make Holiday memories with traditional delicious food, decorating, entertaining and always time to enjoy a good glass of wine.

  • I would travel to London : if you’re looking for something or someone, you’ll definitely have to go to London to find it out.

  • Time for revisiting classics – re-reading books I read when I was younger to realize I hadn’t really read them at all, not fully at least … watching Cary Grant movies … listening to Bartok and Sibelius …

  • I would spend more time with family and friends

  • Anonymous said...

    A trip to Barcelona!

  • I love taking time to just sit and knit or read the Times. There’s an unfinished piece of lace on my nightstand and a pile of newspapers on the floor. Hopefully I’ll get a chance to do both sometime soon!

  • Wish I had time to finish my Master!

  • to paint, to practice art, to learn to write websites even better, to deepen relationship, to travel the world. if only!

  • I am wishing I had more time for traveling and reading blogs and hoping for time to stand still.

  • I would advocate more for the medical needs of vulnerable populations if I had more time. ~M T

  • Traveling! I wish I had more time (and money) to travel. Even little weekend getaways seem so far out of reach. What a luxury I wish I had.

  • I would love to have more time for the most important things in life. I would write letters to people who matter, spend time playing with my puppy, and giving thanks for all the little things in life.
    ball(dot)danielle(at)gmail(dot)com

  • Time to have afternoon tea with my still stylish and elegant 92 year old mother. We would go to the balmoral hotel in Edinburgh and drink pink champagne as if we had all the time in the world.

  • More time to do nothing; sleep, read, walk by the lake…..

  • Travel! Wish I could do so much more

  • Anita said...

How lovely! I wish I had more time to sew my own clothes. I love to se and of course to make my own clothes.

  • I’d love to have time to enjoy more my family and friends. When I’m with them, time flies.

  • If I had more time…I would write more letters to grandparents, dust off my long-unused Russian language skills, and spend a week to enjoy the loveliness in my own backyard in the Paicific Northwest.

  • I would love to have more time to learn something new like painting watercolors.

  • Crafting! I’d love to sit with some music and create something fun and beautiful!

  • Create more and better things. Better stories, more emotional poems, more intense pictures, bigger tattoos. I don’t have the time to live through my art and my art to live through myself.
And travel more – around the world just to go back to my own self, while roaming in a new city to learn new things for myself. To explore the inner and the outer world simultaneously, to be a stranger, to be whoever I wish to be.

I wish I had more time to travel and to create art, to inspire and to be inspired!

  • Travel the World would be the greatest. Time would be my best companion. Walking beside me, “Time” would allow me to go places that I dreamed of all my life, making me even forget that “Time” is not my BF. We are the only ones responsible to let “Time” pass by us without noticing. We have the duty of keeping the memories alive, not forgetting that “Time” is unforgiving. Sometimes we want to blame “Time” for our lack of time but we end up realizing that it’s not only time that keep us still. Being in denial, we realize that “Time” is not always our enemy but something else. To have the opportunity to see the old faces of the pass repeating on the new generations, the old cities, the ancient ideas that became reality, the ingenious wonders that became possible from the will and complicated mind of the Geniuses, to touch it all with my own hands, to walk through magic grounds with my own feet, to breath a different air, to hear new sounds, to see the native people from far away lands, to feel the History and to imagine that I have all the time in the World, just for myself, it would be an awesome reality . Well, I got to the conclusion that “Time” is not so bad. There is a change that in this trip around the World, “He” would work with me in perfect harmony, not pushing me, not making me worry of being late, not rushing me, not being against my time. There is a catch to get to this point also. In order to be able to accomplish most of the plans described above, I would need to have “Time” with me all the time. Attached to my hip? It’s just not fair for “Him”. Maybe I can have the beautiful watch attached to my wrist instead. Guys, I want this watch. Maybe it will bring me luck and it will take me to my so desire dream, which is to travel around the World. It was a pleasure writing it to you Guys.

  • With more time, I would focus on doing the little things that make me happy & content with the present. Those sweet moments bursting with joy yet simple and ordinary… When I create, nourish, dare, dream and make my own history with my loved ones.

Dawn baking- Fresh, buttery croissants and perfect pastel-colored French macaroons accompanied by a cup of coffee, a good book and sweet tunes in the background
Growing & caring green- Daily watering my basil, rosemary and pineapple mint plants and leaving the blinds wide open for bright sun rays to nourish them
Try on more lipstick- Swipe those daring shades: poppy red-orange, dark blueberry purple and eye-stopping neon pink! Then look into the mirror and just smile. No worries, everything will somehow work out: More lipstick, more confidence.
Star gazing- Sometimes I take a friend or a lover, but usually it’s just me and Lucky, my Golden Retriever. Wrapped in cozy blankets and salted caramel hot chocolate in hand, share constellation mythologies and love stories under myriads of stars… or just gaze… and dream.
Capture Memories- write more letters & thank you cards, send more care packages & post cards, take more photographs and film more happy moments… In the end, those are the greatest treasures from Time to each of us.

Sometimes I get super stressed about the future. I’m approaching my mid-twenties and my dreams are still barely visible- and I have to squint real hard… My wise mentor always compared life to a day: Assuming that I will live up to 80, and being 23, it’s only 6:54AM! I’m barely waking up, hazy dreams, feeling groggy… but it’s going to be a good day; it’s going to be a good life!

  • If I had more time, I would love to spend it reading for enjoyment and to share great books with great people.

  • I would actually love to start blogging!

  • I wish I had more time to write! I enjoy it so much, but between my day job and planning my wedding, writing has taken a back seat, unfortunately. Lovely giveaway!

  • I’d love more time for making more things. Sewing especially.

  • I love to ride horses….nothing is more liberating or exhilarating- you forget all of life’s problems galloping across a field. Sadly it takes more money and free time than I currently have.

  • I would love more time for reading! Between work, cleaning, cooking, working out, time with dog, husband, family and friends I get a few minutes each night before bed.

  • I wish I had time to cuddle up with my husband and two puppies and just enjoy the moment, without thinking about two dozen other things to do…

  • When I was growing up I lived in Europe, where so many of the places I wanted to explore were so much closer together and my parents had European-sized vacations to take travel. I wish I had the time we had back then to go abroad.

  • I wish I had more time to bake. It is so calming and brings my family together.

  • Learn a bunch of different languages! oh and travel, I wish I had time to travel more!

  • I wish I had more time to bake….cookies, cakes, tarts, pies. You name it.

  • Hiking for sure. Not enough time in the day!

  • Clare said...

I would read, starting with the classics; just my book, peppermint hot chocolate and me, and I would spend more time with my gorgeous little nephew, practicing seeing the world through his eyes, and having magical adventures.

  • Time with my husband. We get a day a week, if we’re fortunate and usually it’s an hour or two in that day. Otherwise, one of us is working or we’re helping our 13 year old with homework or we’re doing something with church. Our honeymoon never happened, we’ve never traveled away for a weekend – time alone just doesn’t happen. If I could have more time, it would be with him.

  • I would use the time to finish writing the book where I give my brother the life he deserved.

  • I would spend more time on the important things in life. Writing letters to my abuela, playing with my puppy, and giving thanks for the little things in life.

  • Great give away! I wish I had more time to take care of myself and the people I love.

  • I wish I had more time for friends – that is always my greatest wish considering that so much time must be given to school, work, and other responsibilities. It is easy then to forget how great treasures they can be. Thanks for the give-away!!!

  • I wish I had more time to organize parties at home. Invite and cook for friends…

  • Reading and travel!!
    @whypoli

  • I wish I had more time with my lovely husband… to stroll the beach and just be with each other without distractions…

  • I’ve love to spend an entire day just reading in bed…

  • I would
    … spend more time outside.
… see more of the world.
… take more time for others.
    … give thanks more often.

  • Study my French!

I would take the time to read in French to improve my grasp of the language.

  • If I had more time, I would spend it cuddling by a fire, with a book in my lap, a puppy at my side, a hot cocoa in my hand and my love sharing every minute with me.

  • I wish I had time to waste the day away in a comfy chair with a good book.

  • Wish I had more time to watch more sunrises and sunsets on the beach holding hands with my handsome husband

  • more time reading for pleasure and doing pilates…

  • I wish that I had more time to throw dinner parties. They are my favorite thing because they include everything that I love – a chance to use my creativity (cooking, decorating), dance music, cocktails and great company.

  • I love to paint and it’s my release and outlet from the everyday mundane of work. Unfortunately between work and school, I haven’t had the time to paint in a few years. I would love to start painting again if the time became available.

  • If I had more time I would spend it writing and reading, expanding my knowledge, learning new languages and hopefully visiting new countries.

  • Hmm… some things I wish I had more time for…
    The obvious: Sleep 😉
    The wishful: Traveling the world
The real: Starting my own business

  • Oh what a great question! As a working grad student, there are so many things I don’t have time for, but I think what I really want is more time to just stop, breathe, and enjoy the scenery.

I want to do more volunteer work and be able to take enough time from work so I can travel to far flung places – like Chile and Sri Lanka and South Africa!

  • More time for being a tourist! I’m a local in a tourist-y town, so it’s often frowned upon by locals to visit the museums or pretty houses or markets, because they are overcrowded and marketed towards tourists. But sometimes we forget just how special these attractions are. I wish I had more time to picnic in the parks, take photographs of the pretty buildings (they really are unique!) and rediscover my city through new, excited eyes!

  • Time for the classics… a week in a beautiful place, re-reading beautiful words of Fitzgerald, Austen, Salinger… listening to Sinatra, Holiday and Coltrane…dreaming of a timeless Gatsby party.

…Drive to my home state more often to see my loved ones

  • I’d love more time to read and write outside of work

  • At first, I thought “more time to read”. Then I realized that more than that, I’d love more time with my little girl without all the distractions of other responsibilities. She’s two, and loves to “help”, but I all too often forget to stop the busyness and just be with her.

  • I would love to have more time for lazy mornings in bed with a good book and a steamy cup of coffee!

  • If I had more time, I would travel back home more often.

  • Ever since I started my medical residency I don’t have time to do any of the things that I love- travel, read, exercise, have brunch, take a stroll, shop, or learn new things (that aren’t medicine related). What I miss most is the quiet moments when one can get swept away and not think about anything in particular. If I had more time, I would have more moments like those.

  • If I had more time, I would open up a new book and also spend more time with family.

  • More time learning to make new cuisines and more time for reading.

  • Enjoying a lovely dinner with my family who are all far-flung on different continents.

  • Mine is simple. I would like the free time to read my stack of untouched magazines. That’s it. I just want to sit back and read, haha…

  • This may sound very specific, but if I had the time I would love to learn how to bake the perfect souffle and then eat it while reading big fat autobiographies of women who I look up to.

  • What a beautiful watch. I’m lucky that I do all the things I enjoy, travelling, spending time with family and friends, reading, cooking, riding, walking but it would be great to have time todo them in a more unhurried, leisurely way.

  • I wish I had time to travel. With two little ones, it’s hard to take glamorous vacations. But our family trips are building memories for all of us.

  • I wish I had more time to be creative. That may seem like an easy task, but after working all day it takes time to decompress and let my mind settle down enough to really soar. Maybe some day I will be able to work from home and be creative all the time.

  • Organize my closets.

  • This watch is so beautiful! I don’t have enough time to just relax and hang out with friends. Everyone is so busy!

I used to go to a dance hall all the time and just dance for fun, but haven’t had the time since starting and ending graduate school. I wish I had more time for friends. • I wish I had more time to travel (and the money to do so!).

  • As a young mom my life is filled with the needs of little people, and not much time for me. I would love to have the time to go back and get my masters degree, time to learn how to play guitar, time to travel, time to occasionally pamper myself and do something frivolous.

  • I work full-time, go to school part-time and I have a family, so I don’t have much free time to do the things I love or really want to do. I spend most of my spare time doing homework and running my household, so I would really love to have more quality time with my family and more time to dedicate to my side business (I make custom PMC jewelry, hand-bound books and fabric items).

  • I wish I had more time to spend with my daughter; that she’d stay younger, longer and continue to believe I can fix any problem and heal every heartache. I wish I had more time with my husband. Now. When we are young enough to live without restraints and yet old enough to understand just how valuable we are to one another and just how precious “now” is…

  • I love walking in my neighborhood on the weekends… beginning with the farmer’s market, picking out some tea and window shopping a bit. I wish I had more time to unwind like this during the week.

  • I need more time so I can write a travel inspired book. I figure that way I can do that professionally, thereby creating more time to …well, write another travel inspired book…etc etc.

  • I would love to spend more time with my nieces & nephews as they are growing up so quickly!

  • If I had more time I would spend it amongst the pages of novels, exploring the minds and wandering the worlds of of Lee, Wilde, Tartt, Brontë and Austen… Eschewing the crowded day, if only for a moment.

  • If I had more time I would listen to myself more and do as I’m told. There are so many hunches I brush off, so many thoughts I don’t capture, so many cases of ignoring a craving for lemons, and linen, and lingering, and lace.

  • Wow you really know how to make a girl want to become a watch-wearing diva! If I had time, I’d spend hours designing my own line of couture… and perfecting my sewing skills 😛

What a great giveaway, by the way. 🙂

I’d love to have time to take a ballet class. Dance used to be a big part of my life and I miss it so much!

  • If I had the time, I would spend it writing notes to mail to my loved ones: family and friends, who are dispersed around the world– to send them a little postage note to let them know I still think of them and wish them well, and to plan a rendez vous in the future.. too often we rely on social media to keep correspondence and that’s just not good enough!

  • I would love more time to spend with my friends. Each of them live 2 hours away from me and life gets so busy, we’re rarely able to see each other. It’s tough to live away from your two best friends who mean everything to you.

  • I love you run outside in beautiful San Francisco but never have enough time. 🙂

I would love the time to learn to cook, since I have just bought my first house with my partner I envisioned cooking every night but in reality I am to tired.

  • More time to read, to paint, to express myself…

  • I’d love to go running or hiking, and wish to have more time for outdoor activities. Thank you for the awesome giveaway! Love your blog xo

I would love to finally put all my photos in albums…..( enough time is relative….I would rather do just about anything!!! 🙂 [email protected]

  • My husband and I just bought our first house, but between work, travel, friends (we’re at the age when we’re celebrating people’s weddings and new babies non-stop), we haven’t had time to enjoy our new digs. We’d love to sit by the pond in the backyard and enjoy it together. (p.s. The watch is GORGEOUS. Here’s hoping!)

I would love to paint the landscape in plein air every single day! What a dream!

  • Anonymous said...

I am a plein air artist, and it would be my dream to paint the landscape every single day. What a dream!

  • I wish I had more time to travel, even if just locally. My husband and I work so much that we rarely have time to go anywhere. 🙂

  • I wish I had more time to travel. And learn more things such as playing the piano or learning a new language.
    🙂

  • I wish I had more time to travel, read more, and DIY more!

  • I would love to have time to take cooking classes to enhance my skills, blog my adventures through the land of culinary magic.

  • I wish I had more time for… doing nothing! I dream of a day where I could have a lie-in, breakfast in bed, go for a sunny walk… just breathe!

  • I absolutely admire your blog and enjoy following your glamorous posts on Instagram. They make my hectic days around the farm a little more lovely. I wish I had more time to relish in the moment and focus on being here now and enjoying all the little precious moments in life. I especially wish I had more quality time to spend with my family and those dear to me. Having not only time to call those I love but to physically enjoy their presence more often. I wish I had more time to write a decent comment on here, instead if having to rush to class in between jobs. Xo

  • I would write write write about the things I am learning and exploring, and finally learn to paint.. There are not enough hours in the day for creative manifestations simply for documentation or expression’s sake.

  • I’d cook for my boyfriend more, instead of always having him make dinner (I feel like a slacker!). I also would love more time to travel and go visit my mom and siblings… and read more! But life as a music student means I spend most hours practicing or completing other requirements…

  • I would love this watch! I have a 2.5 year old and a 3 month old so I don’t have much time for anything else but I would love more quality time alone with my husband. We need a vacation!

  • More time. More time. It seems the greatest time conflict is between time in solitude to create and time with friends to collaborate and socialize. I so long to have ample time for both. What greatness we’d all have if it wasn’t always about “squeezing it all in.”

  • I would adore more time for travel. Work, work, work is not healthy for anyone! New Year’s resolution perhaps?

  • I would love more time to spend outside during the day! waking up when it’s dark and coming home when it’s dark again wears on a person.

  • I wish I had more time to read all of my books. I buy more than I could read…

  • What would I wish to do? I would wish to take a break and appreciate the time I have left as, yes, a child (I am 17 after all). And although I can’t wait to move out, go to university and experience things on my own, I know I’m going to miss these times. I wish I could take time to appreciate this last worry-“free” year with my family. To appreciate the time I have left to wonder before I go out and finally do.

  • If I had more time, I would spend it volunteering, especially around the holidays. It’s so easy to get wrapped up in the shopping, entertaining and festivities that I can lose sight of giving back. Cheers!

  • I have the time, I just don’t make the time to read and switch off. To fully immerse myself in another world.
    I am trying!

  • I don’t have enough time to travel as much as I would like.

  • I would love to have more time to travel and more time to fix up our little home. I fit these things in when I can but to have more leisure time would be a dream!

  • I wish I could spend more time exploring the world- New York especially. Instead of being the same tedious routine of school, home, homework, sleep- I want to be off exploring the city of New York with my Starbucks latte, burgundy lips, & chic attire! I obviously have big dreams for a 15 year old girl. But that is what I wish I could do, although I am not able to…

  • I wish I had time to walk around and enjoy my city (Washington DC) in the middle of the day, rather than being cooped up in an office during daylight hours.

  • I love cooking. I love hosting parties at home with my friends. Lately, due to very different issues, I have not been able to do either. I miss doing those things that make me happy.
    Thanks for this give away

  • I work all day. I work three jobs so I don’t have time to sleep and to do things for myself.
    Thanks!

  • I really like to get fully immersed in art projects, but since I don’t have time for that I try to do little projects a few times a week.

  • oh i love this! baking. I so love to bake but just can’t find the time lately! Beautiful watch.

  • I never have enough time to spend with my family or to travel, i dearly love to travel!

  • I would love to have more time to work on a cabin rehab. Then I would have time to enjoy the lake and my family!

  • I love to wake up leisurely (without setting an alarm), get ready for the day and spend time exploring our little town with my daughter. On the perfect day we’d stroll to the farmer’s market, cook up something wonderful for lunch and take a picnic to the park!

  • Crafts, vacations, redecorating.

  • These are all lovely. If I can, I say pick paleseptember. That is a lovely project you and your Nana began together. I hope you finish it — with a lovely watch on your wrist. In fact, I hope you all find the time to do each of these precious things.

  • Travel…sleep…get more pedicures…read…cook…but I fit those things in when I can, and am blessed to do them, and live my life, with the most handsome and wonderful husband and sweet and amazing almost three year old daughter. Despite not having the time to do all of the things I would like as often as I would like, I am blessed with my lovely life and try to live it as fully as possible.

  • Time to travel more frequently to have quality visits with my family in Canada. Merci beaucoup!

  • I love the soft rose gold watch. I’d like more time to dream. In order to be creative, one must have quiet, solitude and time to think. If I had more of that in my life, I’d feel very blessed.

  • I would like to have the time I don’t think I actually have. It seems that my life is too short and I’ll be never able to experience everything the world has to offer me. I just would like to have more time it doesn’t feel enough . . .

  • The rose gold watch is lovely. I’d like more time to dream. In order to be creative, one must have quiet, solitude and time to think. If I could have more of that in my life, I would feel very blessed.

  • . . . just pausing, looking around me & enjoying the moment, with whatever it is I am doing. . . I wish I took more time to do that.

  • I wish I could go to culinary school but i don’t have the time or resources to do so right now.

  • Hello Roséline,

I wish I could join this, “sadly” I’m not living in one of the selected countries.
But I guess it would be alright to share my opinion how to “spend more time” with the things I like to do. I would love to say “the time that’s given to us” (borrowed time) and what’s important to me on that day at that moment. With a daily job (9 to 5) I just have to squeeze everything in the weekend. Right now I just figuring out how to given more attention to my shop during the week after work (without having a “mental breakdown” Lol).
Oh well, time will tell! Nevertheless, I wish all those whom left a comment good luck with this beautiful give away and hopefully you will accomplish with the time which is given to you!!

  • What a question! TIme is so precious. I go to the U.S. Military Academy and I schedule every hour of my day in order to complete all of my academic, military and physical tasks and still have space to accomplish things for myself (like reading and calling friends). I check my watch more than anyone I know! So, something i love, but don’t have time for is pure leisure time to enjoy spontaneously. Recently I’ve been discussing an unconstrained trip to Europe with two of my friends for our two week holiday vacation in December.

  • I love to travel but sometimes feel like I don’t have the time. This one is kinda silly but I love watching documentaries but I definitely don’t always have the time for that!

  • i would love more time to be creative, spending large chunks of time with no responsibilities. ~dana

  • If I had more time, I would drive to the midwest and spend more time with my 90-yr-old grandparents. I would go shopping for them, cook, clean, and then just spend the evenings in their living room listening…

  • ‘If I had time’…
I would learn another language (besides my broken spanish). Then I’d love to travel with my husband ~ off the beaten path and to the hidden gems around the world that only pinterest seems to know about… :

  • I love to travel but there is never enough time for that, and also to read!

  • I would spend time with my parents, I would give them more time, attention, myself. I would love to spend time with my mom to reorganize and renovate their appartament to make it more beautiful. I would spend with my mom and sister time on seeing blogs, magazines for more inspiration about decoratnion and architecture. Just to use it then to make my mom’s house just like she would dreamto have it. Time with family.Time for love, joy, happines together and to make our lives more beautiful! Thank you!

  • I love to get lost in classic literature and poetry, but immersion requires more time; time to mull over each word and pause, to reflect and digest, and then to read-again…

  • I wish I had more time to read! Since my children were born, reading has had to take a back seat! 🙁

  • Bake
    Hike
    Crafts!

  • If I had more time, I would spend it browsing old bookstores, reading over a hot cup of tea, traveling for fun (not work), and spending as much time as possible with my loved ones. Isn’t time really a luxury these days?

  • I wish I had more time to read, bake, and travel the world!

  • I wish I had more time to follow my dream of traveling the world and equipping women with the tools they need to become entrepreneurs and pull themselves out of poverty.

  • I’d wander the city and the countryside photographing more beautiful things, then play with the images afterward, and share them with the world.

  • I would love more time for strolling the art galleries in chelsea and reading novels and sleep — could always use another hour!

    Gorgeous watch! <3

  • If only I had more time to travel and read…

  • such a great giveaway! i never have enough time traveling, so i would definitely love to do even more of that!

  • I would love to have more time to go to gallery showings during the weekdays.

  • I’d like more time to visit Paris again. I lived there as a small child and would like to revisit old haunts and make new memories.

    http://www.chloecornell.com

  • Travel! It’s a double edge sword. When you’re younger you don’t have the money to travel, but as you get older and you find your career, you have less time to travel.

  • I would love to have more time to show my little boy all the places I have been and lived and loved in.

  • I wish I had the time for weekend getaways! My husband and I adore traveling but with our hectic schedules, it’s hard to organize time to get out of the city together!

  • I would love to have time to complete a book project I began with my Nana (who has since passed away), where I photographed each one of her precious belongings, and she wrote a bit of history about each one. I hope to one day (soon!) formalize her words and my images into a beautiful book.

Thank you for the chance to win!

  • What do I love to do but don’t have the time for? Oh man, I would build my own sidetable, bookshelf, organize my closets, repaint my kitchen cabinets…anything house related I’m there!

  • I wish I had more time to finally adopt a rescue dog. For the moment, I’ve opened up my home to fostering until the dog(s) find their forever home. One day soon I hope to have one of my own 🙂

  • I wish I had more time to do everything or just nothing at all. There seems to be never enough time in the day for either choice.

  • Never enough time to take the world in slowly, travel the globe, truly listen to others, and sip champagne in a beautiful landscape!

More time to browse this is glamorous.

  • I wish I had more time to:
    – travel
    – read
    – bake
    in that order 🙂

  • Oh thank you so much for the chance to win! More time….hmmmm……I would just like to slow down…but most of all, I would like to go back in time….and be with those I have lost…………

  • I wish I had more time to tell my friends and family how much I love them and I wish I had more time to daydream about all the lovely things in life (love, cupcakes and macaroons, and pretty dresses)! x

If I had more time I would take french lessons. I would love to be fluent and take my children to France. [email protected]

  • Surely I wish I had more time to paint — I have three canvases stored away that are begging to be inspired!

  • I lived for a year in Paris and dream of going back, revisiting my friends, colleagues, my ‘quartier’, my café, eat macaroons, run along the Seine, stroll around the Tuileries, spend more time staring at art, drink more chocolat chaud and cocktails at Le Fumoir, watching the flashing lights of the Eiffel Tower.

  • If I had more time on my hands I would be outside more. I don’t care if it’s just 20 minutes longer on my morning walk or more time spent in the woods.

I would also organize my office and paint that wall that’s been driving me nuts for 2 years.

  • I Love to go to art museums & galleries and just wander around… Of course who has time for that! 😉

  • I love love love this watch! It is so pretty:) I love to read, but I haven’t had time to read books ‘just because’, since I have been studying for the LSAT and started a new job,
    Have a great week! 🙂

  • I wish I had more time to get back into sewing. Making adjustments and a muslin before cutting things out take too much time, but it’s important to get the right fit. I also wish I had more time to continue reading Sherlock Holmes, preferably before the new series starts (that’s not going to happen).

  • Since {more time} doesn’t exist I would like to be more wise about how I spent the time I have.
That said I would like to be more present in the present moment. Remembering to S-L-O-W down and appreciate the beautiful colors of fall, the way my husband looks when he first wakes up, the brilliance of the moon and the beauty that happens when I connect with another human being. I don’t want {more time} I want to do better with the time I have been given {gifted}. I LOVE your site….thank you.

  • In this fast-paced world, taking time is a true luxury. I wish I had the luxury to take my time, to be more present, and enjoy all the beautiful little things that make life spectacular. It’s not really anything specific, just a general thing.

  • I love to paint but never seem to have the time to do it. I am a graphic designer who just launched an online stationary & invitation shop, so if I am doing anything creative or with my hands – I feel compelled for it to be lucrative. It would be lovely to take the time to paint and just enjoy the creating process for myself.

I would love more time to daydream…

  • If I had more time on my hands I would cook a lot more. I enjoy cooking very much but gathering fresh ingredients each day does take time.

  • I love curling up in a chair with a steaming cup of Twining’s tea and a magazine or favorite book (most likely THE SCARLET PIMPERNEL). But–school and work must come first!

  • I wish I had more time to be with my husband, he works a lot!

  • I wish I had more time for myself. Between commitments to family, friends, work, the boyfriend. and to mundane chores around the house I’ve run out of ME time.

  • Spend more time with my husband. Since our children arrived, most days are about just trying to get through all that must be done.

  • I would love to have more time to curl up in bed with a good book, cup of tea, and a big ol’ slice of cake <3

If I had a bit more time on my hands, I would spend it with my 89-year-old grandfather–my last living grandparent and a WWII veteran. I would write down family stories, his experiences growing up in San Francisco in the 1920’s, and his description of my grandmother (whom I’m often told to resemble). As a journalist, it weighs on me that I have not taken the precious time to record these memories before he passes. That would truly be time well-spent and a gift that I could keep giving to my (unborn) children and grandchildren!

  • I wish that I had more time to just take off and visit my youngest daughter in Chicago. We always have so much fun doing girly things and going out to eat, shopping, etc. Just spending ‘time’ together. Lovely watch.

I would love to have more time to finish all the little projects stirring around in my head…and also just to smell those roses!

  • I love to travel to visit my friends, and often can’t make the time for it. Unfortunately, life, work and costs always seem to get into the way.

  • I really love playing music…I’ve been trying to teach myself new instruments, but never seem to have the time to put in the hours of practice that are necessary.
