. . . on friday afternoon, after the whirlwind of flying clothes, a flurry of shoes, and the door bell ringing while still running around in underthings, were whisked away to the countryside to spend the afternoon catching up with family from out of town over coffee and meringue cookies, and so, inspired by the beautiful countryside flooded in winter sunlight, a little colour inspiration in shades and hues and tones of green -- chartreuse and racing, forest and kelly, sea foam and emerald . . .
