. . . and while it may still be a little too soon for christmas décor, these chilly november days bring along with them festive thoughts and a certain excitement for nights in sequins and velvet, and laughter among champagne and candlelight -- and perhaps, this year, soft pastel hues for wreaths and ribbons for a perfectly pretty holiday season . . .
