. . . and while on the topic of paris, simply could not resist these beautiful shots of l'arc de triomphe among rust-coloured and rustling leaves, café chairs in the late-afternoon sun and a carpet of fallen leaves in the jardin des tuileries, pale roses in an antique shop window, and the extravagant splendour that is autumn in paris . . .

{p.s.} also new today : the rooftops of paris

I spent a few days in Paris back in june. I can't believe how it changes in autumn. I wish to be there very soon. Thank you for your inspiring photos.
Oh my goodness, stop it already with all this fall beauty... I can't take it! Divine, especially as I'm currently planning my next trip to Paris. Eeeeeep! :)

Ah, Roséline, we posted on the exact same topic today! I must say that Liz Rusby's photos are that wee bit more evocative, though :)
I could honestly look at these pictures all day long, and I probably will.. You can practically feel the cold air and hear the leaves in that third photo. So lovely!

Ciao for now...
Gah!!! Totally 100% obsessed with fall, but it was in the 90s here yesterday. So wish I was in Paris. Swoon.
