. . . and with all of the exciting things happening recently, had not a chance to wish you a happy summer, [for, as you know, it is without a doubt, the most favourite time of year], and in that time, a new month also swept in, and so, here's to breathlessly sunny mornings and coffee on the terrace; strolls through the greenest gardens and the sound of singing birds; to dusky, humid, long sultry summer nights, moonlit walks and drives along the coast; to sandy toes and windswept hair, and the intoxicating warmth of sunshine on bare shoulders . . .
