. . . and while on the topic of lingering dinner parties & mid-summer soirées, positively to delighted to announce that this week's glamorous give-away is by we dream in colour, a collection of beautiful handmade adornments from the north shore of boston; and there are lovely swirls and lily pads, ferns and feathers and golden hairpins, perfect with sundresses for the shops and romantic late-afternoon dates, or with sequinned skirts and sky-high sandals on magical nights amidst the music and fireflies and stars . . .





. . . there are two studios, one in essex, and the other, salem, where the whimsical creations are made; designed by jade gedeon, whose influences come from travels around the world, and whose work has been displayed in prominent galleries, she has also illustrated several publications and attended, on scholarship, the prestigious, pratt institute, and was invited to denmark's design school, where she studied in copenhagen; the designs are a perfect mix of whimsy and elegance . . .
