{two lovely things : pretty papered powder rooms}

. . . seem to be having quite a love affair with florals lately, and if there is one place where pretty paper always looks perfect, it is the powder room, and especially when paired with classic carerra, gilded mirrors and glamorous crystal wall sconces, and of course monogrammed hand towels . . .

  • helinor — so lovely to meet you & so very happy you have found your way here; and thank you so very much — your comment may just well be the loveliest ever! it’s wonderful to know that you’re dreaming along through these pages all the way from the outback, and better still, that you’re enjoying every moment along the way xo

    Roseline, I have just discovered your blog after many years spent obsessing over interiors, design, flowers, sparkly things, stripes, dresses, colour, light… I must tell you, I work as a truck-driver in the goldfields of outback Western Australia. I suspect I am one of the only truckies who spends down-time under the digger painting my nails in O.P.I Cajun Shrimp & Guy-Meets-Galveston! After happening across your blog..oh my goodness! I have feasted my eyes for hours, I feel like a kid in a candy shop…which link do I go to first? Which feature? Which love adventure? Which image shall I pin? A veritable treasure trove for the senses. So thank-you, thank-you. In one brilliant blog I have found my lifeblood and a way to maintain my feminine sensibilities whilst battling red dust, coarse language and an absolute overdose of high-viz clothing!

  • Loving both of these wallpapers!

  • Beautiful rooms.. :)
