. . . today, a glimpse into one of the eiffel suites at the hôtel plaza athénée on the avenue montaigne, paris, where perfectly ornate crown moulding and elegant wood-panelled walls intermingle with crystal chandeliers and pink bergères, custom velvet sofas and yards upon yards of silk curtains, drawn back for a view of la tour eiffel . . .
