. . . tasseled drapes and soft lighting, tufted settees and silk cushions, crisp white table cloths and silver-rimmed china, salmon pasta shell roll, served with toast, lox and caviar, freshly backed biscuits with clotted cream, tea and delicate pastries and it's champagne afternoon tea at the dorchester . . .

Im always looking for places to go for Afternoon Tea in London. I have yet to go to the Dorchester though, because I heard you have to book way in advance. This looks like a nice twist on the traditional take. I wonder if you can have scones *far off look*
anonymous -- there are most definitely have scones, and with clotted cream, even x

although, looking back, should have read, "there are most definitely scones, and with clotted cream, even x"
typos :)
Beautiful pictures! I recently visited The Langham for afternoon tea and would recommend booking for late afternoon/early evening. We booked quite late and at 6.59pm "Champagne Charlie" started parading around the room offering everyone a free glass of champagne!
