. . . if for some reason, this maximalist heart were to live in an ultra-modern & minimalist space, it would be, perhaps, in this greenwich village pied à terre, for the wonderful bits of gold artfully scattered about — the gilded frames and hanging pendants, and most of all, the astonishingly spectacular coffee table, [a work of art] — would make it all worthwhile . . .
{p.s.} although must confess, quite certain would last not two minutes in the kitchen, before covering the walls in art, adding more gold, and, many, many bouquets of roses in crystal vases . . .
