{style inspiration: the french riviera}

tulle-hed
tulle-jcrew

. . . isn't this the loveliest swimsuit? . . . inspired by vintage french swimwear and beautifully draped in a ruched tulle overlay, it can be worn strapless and would also look lovely with a fluttery skirt for dancing the night away, but mostly, would be perfect with a bellini on an enchanted afternoon in the french riviera . . .

{p.s.} the tulle is a special blend that holds its shape & dries quickly

brittany stiles -- yes, it is still available -- just click on the link at the bottom of the post, then choose the colour "buff pink" -- it looks very different in black :)

hope that helps, and let me know if you have any trouble x

Such a gorgeous beauty Roseline! Gosh, they sure don't make pieces like they used to anymore...Love that J.Crew's totally upping their fashion game and busting out vintage babies along with their chic separates! Love it, thanks for sharing!

By the way, my blog just turned one today and I'm hosting a HUGE giveaway for 8 lucky winners! Hope to see you stop by :D

utterly lovely. i remember falling when i first saw it on jcrew, but i love the way that you suggest it styled with even a skirt, like the gorgeous bodysuits that are suddenly current again on the runway (a la maxmara). lovely styling interpretation. might it be possible for a swimsuit to entirely inspire a vacation to the riviera? peut-etre, because i can feel the sun on bronzed shoulders, the water glinting off the yachts in cannes, and i do believe the terrace at the grand hotel du cap ferrat is calling our name ;) bisous xo
