{wishing you a happy spring}

"It's spring fever. That is what the name of it is. And when you've got it, you want - oh, you don't quite know what it is you do want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so!"

~Mark Twain

. . . and at long last, the eternal enchantment that is spring has arrived, and while winter may have its cozy, fire-lit nights, spring has its breezes by starlight and magnolia blossoms in sunlight, its long-awaited, lingering excitement that soon there will be pleated skirts and picnics, café crème and macarons in quaint light-filled cafés in late morning, and butterflies and golden skies in early evening . . .

happy spring! hope it is filled with beautiful things & new beginnings,
~ roséline xo

{p.s.} spent most of the day, yesterday, out of the office in favour of working in a sun-drenched café, having apparently already fallen to spring fever and there's magic in the air

This post filled me with joy and reminded me that Spring is truly about new beginnings, and it's about the blossoming of beauty everywhere, and the air is filled with a fresh kind of feeling. How lovely that you spent your work day in a sun-drenched café! Thank you for reminding me that the magic of this beautiful season is so deserving of embracing the moments... (and I must say that very little at this moment sounds more perfect than picnics, macarons, and butterflies!)

Also Roséline, this photo is absolutely stunning!!

That image is breathtaking! It's still raining over here and I'd LOVE to be lying around at a place like the one in the photo with the smell of the blooming flowers all around in the air and the little birds singing..*sigh*

Ooooo, I can't wait for the trees to explode in blossoms! We are a few weeks away here in Colorado, but I am giddy with anticipation!

This photo is a great embodiment of spring to me! I wish I was working in a sun drenched cafe, instead the weather is still "wintery mix" here in NYC. Good things come to those who wait... here's to hoping spring comes soon!
