. . . yesterday was one of those days were it seemed as if inspiration was always just nearly out of grasp, and while coffee & a moment of repose, a late lunch date and a little fresh air seemed to help, when all else fails, {with the exception of a flight to paris}, there are always ribbons, ruffles, and tulle, tulle, tulle . . .
{p.s.} what do you do when you're in search of inspiration?

I read...just about anything just takes me away from the moment the blahness. To get inspired, reading blogs, magazines, cooking...I try to grasp to whatever is within my reach and sometimes a little break (like your late lunch and fresh air) is the ONLY thing that works! I love the first dress!! Would have died for that when I was in search for my wedding dress! Hope waves of inspiration have come your way by now:) xoxo
I am in love with the second one the shortness and tulle togethr are amazing.
to bad no wedding right now in my future.

Hmmm, add a shot of color to that second one and i've got some adorable (albeit loud) bridesmaids' dresses.
I adore that second gown, I tried on a version of it that was long, Great to find wedding posts, you have a great blog :)

I supremely dislike when I have an inspiration block...I think getting out and exploring, just keeping a keen awareness of what's around me usually helps!
Even though I have been married for a few yrs, I never tire of looking at beautiful wedding dresses!
Those gowns are beyond gorgeous! I am just like you my darling and when all else fails I always results to ultra feminine pieces :)
When I am in search of inspiration I love flipping through old magazines and other blogs - especially YOURS!!

I come here when I'm looking for inspiration! :)
I also go to weheartit... but really connecting with some nature i always find inspiring: the sound of rain, a flower, a plant always do me good.

I love the third gown for its ethereal dream-like quality and the last one for the gorgeous origami detailing! thanks for sharing..see you on my blog sometime soon!! xx meenal
Such pretty dresses! I guess that they were from Marchesa at about the second one, and was happy to see that I guessed right.
Pinterest is one of the places I find inspiration.
The last gown is amazing! It looks as if it is covered in shells. Would make for a fab modern day editorial for "The Birth of Venus".
For inspiration, nothing better than a breath of fresh air with the warmth of sunshine, oh, and dark chocolate!
I think the last one is pretty cute it has a very fairy tale with a bit of elegant feel to it. But to wear it I think you might have to tone down the layers around the face if anyone was going to use that dress. Even though it kinda looks like a thing from the sea it still is beautiful :)

hmmm, not really in a life stage at the moment where i can fantasize too terribly realistically about weddings, and more importantly, wedding dresses, but love these and they will definitely be on my mind for a bit.
