. . . a little in disbelief that there are only two days left until christmas, and at this moment, a beautiful disarray of pine cones and white-sequined ornaments, flows of velvet ribbon and pretty piles of party dresses, and after everything, and if there's time, perhaps a few moments of repose, candlelight and pine-scented garlands, although must confess, quite adore the dashing about this time of year . . .
{p.s.} did you have a chance to watch the astonishingly enchanting lunar eclipse the other night?

Here in New York, the lunar eclipse was from something like 3am-5am. Lucky for us, at 7am whilst driving into school/work, we caught the last third of it. Now, if only I wasn't driving so I could have snapped a photo. It was awesome!
I can't believe it either! And I want to get into that bath! x
I think I'm the only person not dashing about, I always feel quite dad at this time
Oh wow, I'm in love with this. So gorgeous!
kathryn -- so envious! had planned to set the alarm, but somehow never happened -- would have been such a spectacular sight! so lovely to see all the videos & photos, though, but definitely not quite the same...
tabitha -- so sorry to hear! sending extra warm thoughts and holiday wishes your way xo
Now that's a charming bath!
That is a beautiful image! I never think to decorate my bathroom and I should - it's where you go to relax and treat yourself. Why shouldn't it be beautiful like this, too?!
