{colour inspiration: scarlet, crimson & vermilion}

. . . have been known to wear red lipstick nearly everywhere -- on early morning walks with the dog, at the shops and in the rain, and sometimes even to the gym, but very rarely, if ever, decorate with or wear the colour red . . . and yet, somehow, and only next to gold {an all-time favourite}, shades of scarlet, crimson and vermilion, always elegant and wonderfully festive in the form of short and stylish party dresses, are perfectly and utterly irresistable at this time of year . . .

How incredibly holiday-inspiring these colours represent. I too rarely wear the colour red but it looks simply gorgeous on the girl in the first photo! I may have to go shopping... :)

Oh I love red lipstick! Classic look. And I´m obsessed with getting a red dress for myself, but I can´t seem to find it anywhere, i should discover online shopping i guess. Or maybe talk my mother into sewing one for me :P . But anyways, absolutely fantastic finds!!

Delicious inspiration! Red is, without a doubt, my favorite color. And the darker the shade, the better! It's truly gorgeous, I think, with shades of gold, camel, wheat, off-white and beige. But also magnificent ---and electric--- with many shades of grey and icy green. Thank you, as always, for the daily dose of glamour...

Red and gold, it doesn't get much classier. With a big green 50's inspired evening gown, it's Elizabeth Taylor meets Grace Kelly.

red lips make you feel so sophisticated and feminine...
To see someone with red lips on the street is so inspiring!
I love to have my hair in a sleek ballerina look, have some black mascara and combine it with red lips <3

so so pretty and decadent! I have always wished to be able to wear red, but with my red hair, few shades are possible—but I can add some accessories in red, as long as they are not directly close to my hair :)

sending a link to this post to my friend, who adores red so much!
