. . . positively smitten with the idea of white and gold for halloween -- delicate garlands made of lacy doilies and white pumpkins among gold confetti, silver flatware on white linen and elegant packages for stylish guests, tied in the most charming polka dotted ribbon . . .

{p.s.} brushed in gold

What a stunning collection of photos!! The lightness of them is a refreshing contrast to the usual dark colors!

I like the idea of white and gold at any time of year really. There's something sophisticated and almost ethereal about the combo.

always love a non-traditional holiday color scheme ... especially using gold, my favorite metal.

p.s. Carolyne Roehm does a fabulous Halloween in white & silver

What a beautiful idea - I especially love the doilys (doilies?) used as a delicate, etheral decoration.

I absolutely agree! I spray painted my pumpkins gold last year and used them for Thanksgiving as well as bit for Christmas decor!
