okay, I'm back. and my heart is racing at the thought of calling this chair my very own! I'd name him 'Llewellyn', because I always swore that's what I'd name my firstborn, and let me tell you: that's the position this chair would hold in my life!
I would stroke him and polish him with method brand 'wood for good' spray (smells like almonds!) And I'd tell him bedtime stories, like the time his Daddy Eames created his brother the ES670 Lounge Chair and his sister the Molded Plastic Side Chair (incidentally the other items I'd want from CSN).

Oh no. I just spent an inordinate amount of time--just on slipper chairs, modern. Then arm chairs, modern. Then aieee. I had no idea about this site. I'm going back to look but I stopped back here to say that I adore the two chairs above. I grew up around architects & no matter what style was about, there was always an Eames or two on hand.
A couple of years ago, the USPS had a wonderful series of stamps featuring Eames chairs, other designs, & the holiday card they sent out. I bought as many sheets as I could afford (not that many) & just used the last one today. (Supplemented with a few one cent stamps, of course.)
Oh, back to the store. Devilish woman. (Still, I'm surprised by some of the excellent prices.)

What a fabulous giveaway. I need to replace a few pieces of furniture so I viewed headboards, leather sofas and coffee tables and could not decide which design I liked best. So many were great.

I have always loved this chair and as a designer it was such a great thing to use in project but was never able to afford it... it would look great as a sculpture in my house... as for the items from CSN i checked out I love that kitchen cart because it would come so in handy in my overly stuffed kitchen
