. . . my wonderful friend felicity always sends along the most amazing things, and freunde von freunden is one of them: a berlin-based selby-esque {perhaps a little more gritty & artsy} project by german design agency no more sleep, that documents the agency’s friends, partners and creative people around berlin in their living or workspace; overflowing with visual details, the shots are glimpses that feel like an exclusive look behind the scenes . . .

Felicity remembers Miss Roséline’s very first post a number of years ago. Her first introduction to the world of blogging was when she stumbled across a post on Bestey Johnson's apartment on This Is Glamorous. Ever since then, she has watched TIG blossom and grow into the much loved blog you now are now reading. Roséline’s eye for glamorous elegant finds, makes her smile, especially when she places them in her multi-image colour themed posts. She has also very much enjoyed the addition of Laily‘s Favorite Five posts & Sarah‘s weekly travel finds. She encourages you to settle in with a box of Ladurée macarons & your favorite tea and wander through the treasure trove of images hidden in the archives of this lovely blog. You’ll be so glad you did.

Hey beautiful girl, my pleasure :-) and thank you for the kind words – you are too gracious. (she smiles)

I was wondering which ones you’d like best.I also thought frank stueve’s & jo groebel’s apartments were rather special.

Smiles and take care & much love to you and yours

  • sarahann — how exciting! congratulations!

some style – yes! that shot, with shalom’s portrait, is my very favourite of them all, just for including it. love that you instantly knew who it was :)

  • felicity — hello, hello! yes frank stüve’s was good, but parts may have been a little too gothic for my tastes; also liked ines colmorgen + andré wyst’s place — thanks again for the wonderful link and much love to you as well xo

  • Thanks for the new blog tip. These photos (to me) exhibit classic European urban design: light filled, extremely edited, filled sparsely with interesting, funtional, quality objects. A great lesson.

  • Hello Roséline,

I hope you’re having a wonderful week! These photos are very chic in their own way, and true, very selby–esque. I like the minimalism and concentration on materials, collected objects and styling details. Nice :)

  • Definitely could use the shoe closet myself!

  • that typewritter is PERFECT in that space – i want one now! – … oh and the bookkcase she turned into a shoe wall – LOVE IT!!!

  • Those last two images left me a little bit breathless. When I see things like this, I not only want to live inside the homes, I want to have dinner with the designers who created them. I can only imagine how interesting they are and how that talent must spill over into so many other aspects of their lives.

  • Beautifully decorated – thanks for sharing! xo

  • i love the selby, and an artsy version sounds even better! i’m looking forward to exploring this – i like to see how “real people” live (must admit that i’m a little bit of an interior voyeur…)
