davidikus -- a really good question -- would imagine you could write on it, although as it's tear- and water-proof, may have a special coating? sharpies may work :) also heard that they could be custom silk-screened . . .

I love this! I was happy to see it was water-proof because the first thing that came to mind (before I was finishing reading of course) was "what if it gets wet?", hehe.
